SGW Services was the pioneer in implementing in Brazil the use of VSP (Visual Sample Plan) developed by the EPA - US environmental agency - and widely used in the USA for scientific calculation of multi-increment soil and groundwater samples. CAD, GIS platforms and solutions for mathematical modeling and graphic design are also in use. A georeferenced environmental database system is being implemented that will allow real-time management, consultation, and evaluation of project information.

SGW Services was the pioneer in Brazil in the use of remediation projects of products specially developed for remediation of specific compounds of interest, with innovative technologies in the area of biotechnology for the remediation of highly hazardous and environmentally persistent compounds. The company maintains close scientific collaboration with American company Provecutus, locally offering products, inputs, and techniques crucial for developing efficient products in Brazilian climatic and hydrogeological conditions.
